Here's a quick overview of our trip ...
We spent the first week making our way down to Florida, stopping for 2 nights in beautiful Savannah Georgia.
On the Friday night before the ship was to set sail, we had to endure the wrath of tropical storm Barry. However, by the time we boarded the ship, the weather had settled down.
After calling Rob to wish him a happy birthday, the ship set sail and headed off to Cozumel Mexico, Belize, Costa Maya Mexico, and then to Nassau Bahamas.
The ship was incredible. It was the Carnival Glory, as seen in the picture above behind the gorgeous couple. Google it, I dare ya.
When we disembarked, we got to the car to discover a dead battery. We had to endure 100 degree temperatures while waiting for AAA to come and boost the battery and recommend a nearby shop to get a new one installed. We went back to Savannah for the night.
On Sunday, after an interesting church service in Savannah we travelled on to Statesville, North Carolina.
On Monday, we made it all the way up to St. Catherines and stayed at Hotel Vanderwerf for the night. By far, the best accommodations! I tell ya, it felt good to be back home in Canada.
On Tuesday, after a fabulous breakfast with the proprietors of Hotel Vanderwerf, we made it back home to beautiful London, ON, at about 2:30 pm
That's the condensed version. For the unabridged edition, you're gonna hafta come on down to see the pictures and hear all of the exciting adventures first hand. And we've got lots of pictures!

Hey, Ed & Marlene,
It was fun looking at your pictures--looks like you guys had a great time. Welcome back--I guess reality will really set in, come Monday!
Welcome back! Boy, it sounds like you had a great time. By looking at that ship, it looks like you would need the entire week just to explore the boat. :-) Can't wait to see the pictures.
